Valentine’s Day Student Recital

Celebrate the hard work of our young musicians at our upcoming Valentine’s Day Student Recital! This event is a wonderful opportunity for students of all levels to perform in a supportive community setting and share their progress with family and friends.

We are honored to hold this recital at Oakwood Presbyterian Church, featuring a beautiful piano that previously belonged to one of our teachers, the late Pat Lloyd (1935–2024), which was purchased by a generous church member and donated to Oakwood. Pat served the State College musical community for over 45 years as a respected piano teacher and organist. As part of CPMTA, she championed the Phyllis Triolo Competition.

Potluck Reception: Following the performances, we invite all families to stay for a community potluck reception! We kindly ask that attending families bring a “finger food” item to share—something easy to pick up and enjoy by hand, such as cookies, muffins, or donuts.

Information for Teachers

• Any CPMTA teacher is welcome to enroll their students. To ensure a variety of performances, each teacher may enroll up to six students per recital day.

• Registration Fee: $15 per student.

• Deadline: Sign up by Friday, February 6, at 11:55 PM.
